Hi, I’m Rashidah!
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you stumbled upon this space or came with intention, I want you to know this is where we connect, grow, and explore purpose together.
Now, a little about me: I’m a wife and momma who finds peace and joy in the simple moments—watching my girls play, seeing my husband out in the garden, sipping sweet tea, enjoying the soothing scent of lemongrass, and listening to music that keeps me grounded and whole.
Self-care is no longer an option for me—it’s a priority. I’ve learned that when I take care of myself, I’m able to show up fully for others. My passion lies in making a real difference in the lives of underserved communities, advocating for systemic changes that uplift and empower.
Recently, I traveled to Ghana, a deeply transformative experience. On that sacred ground, I felt the presence of my ancestors—fueling my drive, reminding me of my calling, and pushing me forward. This journey has deepened my commitment to my work, inspiring the next stage of my impact. I’m excited to connect more deeply across the diaspora and the continent, ready to do the work that lies ahead.
At the heart of it all is my desire to create opportunities—for personal growth, career development, and breaking down barriers. There’s so much I want to accomplish, and I’m ready to make it happen.
Take your time exploring this space. If something resonates, let’s connect!
As a Certified Life Coach and Master Social Worker, I’ve spent my career blending coaching, social work, and nonprofit management to uplift and empower. I’ve always believed in the power of people, and my mission is to support individuals—especially within BIPOC communities—as they navigate challenges and embrace new opportunities.
From tackling social injustices to advocating for educational and professional growth, my work is all about creating lasting, positive impact. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside amazing organizations and individuals, helping them grow and thrive.
About Me
The Journey
Currently, I serve as the Senior Program Manager for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, where I create and scale dynamic, evidence-based programs focused on empowering youth and young adults.
Through initiatives centered around college, career, and entrepreneurship, I’m helping to build a pipeline of opportunities that supports the long-term success of young people in our community.

I’m also the Co-Founder of Black Girls Coaching, an initiative dedicated to making coaching accessible to BIPOC communities. At Black Girls Coaching, we provide affordable coaching, tools, and resources to empower individuals across personal, educational, and professional domains. You can learn more at blackgirlscoaching.com.

Before this, I spent nine years as the Director of Recruitment + Admissions at Year Up, where I tackled social injustices by assisting Opportunity Youth and those vulnerable to social challenges with their educational and professional growth.

Prior to that, I enjoyed a ten-year career at Radio One Atlanta as the Promotions Director, a role that gave me the platform to develop award-winning events and programs benefiting individuals, families, and communities. That experience deepened my passion for social work and fueled my desire to create lasting, meaningful change.
